Update on my goals

So I have managed to setup my YouTube channel, I just need to record a video or 2 lol. I am finding it hard as I don't want to do it with my daughter and husband around...

I have managed to get 2 out of 4 rooms downstairs in a state that will only take about 10 mins to tidy up. Only 2 more to go, although I'm not sure the kitchen will ever only be 10 mins as it seems to get dirty again just after I have tidied.

I have done some more of my cross stitch for my nephew and I am not far from about half way.

This is where I am at now:

Also I have managed to make another update on here so I feel I have had a good start on those goals :-)

Until next time :-)

My plans for the rest of this year

Okay so I have been ready quite a few blogs and think I will set myself a few goals to have completed by the time I am due my new arrival.

1. I want to get at least each room downstairs clean, tidy and organised so that it will only take me 10 mins per room in future

2. Complete my current cross stitch project. This is a birth sampler for my nephew.

3. Update my progress here

4. Start my own YouTube channel. I have been thinking about this for a long time as it's something I really want to do and now I have found an amazing cross stitch community on here and there. Just need to get over my nerves that no one will watch.

I think they will do for now as I can always add some if I get them all completed.
My cross stitch so far looks like this (sorry it's sideways, not worked out how to rotate pictures yet):

Is it too late to add in a grid as I have only just found out about this technique?

Back soon...

Hope this isn't too boring

Hi and welcome to my blog.

I have thought about doing one of these for a while but wasn't sure what to write about. I have read a couple of blogs and I have decided to write about juggling my family and work life as well one of hobbies which is Cross Stitch.

My name is Sarah and I am 29 years old. I have a gorgeous daughter and another child on the on way who is due in December. I am married and my husband has an illness called M.E and this makes our lives difficult sometimes.

I have found that Cross Stitch helps me to relax when it feels like things are getting on top of me. Recently I finished a cat picture for my daughter's room. (See pic below)

Well I will leave this post there and I aim to update it at least once a week.
